It's been so long since I haven't made a post here. With all the other stuff I'm preoccupied with, I have almost forgotten that I have a blog!
So here's what I did for the last 2 years:
I am currently writing a fanfic based in GT5 in GTPlanet (and that's the reason why I almost abandoned this site! LOL). I have made tons of titles of them already, and there will be more coming up (as long as I don't give up on that, why not?)
Here's the link that will lead you to all my stories in GTPlanet:
My GTPlanet Stories
I have been writing them for a year, and this is all thanks to the readers as I thought that no one would read them.
Next, I have made several purchases of 1:64 Kyoshos. Kyosho makes the best 1:64s in the planet. Though of course you will need to pay the price for their craftsmanship and detail they put on something tiny. 1:64 scale (for those who have no idea) models are almost the size of a Hot Wheels toy car.
This is just one of them, and it quickly made it to my Favorites list:
More on these little gems coming soon! And I should not forget that I have a blog this time...

Maisto 1:18 Porsche Carrera GT

Well, I am falling in love with the Lamborghini Countach! Now I see why people still view it as one of the most beautiful cars in the world! From every angle, you never see any faults in design. Seeing its stints in the 3 Cannonball Run movies makes me love this car even more.
This is a 1/43 scale Del Prado Lamborghini Countach LP500S. The details are nice and the accuracy of the casting as well.

In the next few days, I'll be posting some more of my diecast car pics and maybe my street racing story!

Minichamps 1:43 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series (Top Gear Edition)

Well, it also comes with The Stig figurine in the package and also the lap time it set at the Top Gear Test track (1:23.0) which adds to the beauty of this car.
In its 1:1 form, the car is powered by a 5980cc, twin-turbo M275 V12 generating 670 HP and 1000 Nm of torque. The reason for this abominable power is that the turbos are 12% bigger. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic gearbox (the 7-speed unit can't handle this car's impressive torque figure) Of course, it would be foolish to just improve the power right? So the good people at AMG fitted this car with a fully adjustable suspension. Weight is also reduced by ditching the electric hardtop folding roof and replaced it with the fixed carbon fiber roof. With that, an electric spoiler that rises when the car travels at 100 km/h was added due to that modification. Despite all these weight savings, the car still weighs at over 1800 kilograms. The exterior styling is not just for show, it's there for better cooling of the engine and much better aerodynamics. All of these modifications translate to 0-100 km/h of 3.8 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 320 km/h.
Sadly, this car is a rare sight on the road. Just 350 of them were built and all were sold. The Black Series name in the AMG stable intends to be a track day vehicle. Hence, this is not your common garden-variety, luxurious GT cruiser. It's meant to be hard and focused on the track.
So many hauls....
