The Nissan R35 GT-R

Ever since 2002, the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 has stopped its production,. It had suffered numerous defeats from its supercar rivals like Porsche, Ferrari, and even the Honda NSX. After 5 grueling years of developing, the new GT-R made a comeback and a payback as well. Before the year 2007 had ended, Nissan introduced their flagship car that will bring back the GT-R's glory and become a very difficult adversary for muscle and exotic cars of today.

The debut of the GT-R started like a wildfire, beating every supercar in its path, the name "Godzilla" has been revived and became a terrible force to be reckoned with. With a starting price of just $80,000, this car is affordable in supercar standards. Because of this, the car has turned into an everday supercar.


The secret behind Godzilla's newfound power is this:


A 3.8 liter, twin-turbo V6 named as VR38DETT. It packs 480 horsepower and 680Nm of torque. It also houses a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and a rear transaxle 4WD system, a first for a high performance 4WD car. Combine these attributes, then this car could go from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of more than 300 km/h. This car is fast when cornering, due to the rear-transaxle 4WD system and a rear-wheel drive based platform with 4WD layout. These performance figures defeated almost every supercar, considering that Nissan only planned to beat the king of sports cars, the Porsche 911 Turbo. It had beat the 911 Turbo's lap time at the Nurburgring, the GT-R lapped the Nurburgring at an astonishing 7"26'90, placing at the top fastest cars that had lapped the 'Ring, one of the most dangerous, challenging, and the longest racetracks in the world.

Painted in black, this car sports Godzilla's color and seeing that car rampage in performance, you'd better yield when you see this GT-R. Make way for it if you don't want to be Godzilla's next meal...

Aoshimas

Well, I got acquainted with a brand named Aoshima.

Well, I bought this:







I really praise the quality of Aoshimas, they're durable and the paint still sticks even after some scratches, accidental dropping it on the floor. Though I rarely buy any of them as these are hard to find and expensive.
